We are a crazy little soap company nestled in the heart of Taos, New Mexico. I am Michelle Lewis, One of the owners of the company. The other two owners are K2 and Joshua Lewis, my sons. K2 plays electric guitar while making soap, Joshua sings while pouring the olive oil and me? Well, I'm the one who runs around like a chicken with her head cut off. Our soaps are made with an amazing base of healthy goodness for your skin. The soap is a rich apothecary blended into a bar with Soy, Olive, Coconut, Castor, Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Raw Honey, Goats Milk, Organic Herbs, Pesticide free essential oils and the finest perfumes swirling in bubbles. Our candles are strong, burn 20 hours and are made with Soy and Beeswax, with hemp wicks. We may be a half a bubble off plum, but I can promise you this. Once you use our family created soap, no normal bar will ever make you satisfied again. Each 7 ounce bar of soap is wrapped with Cherokee Tear Cloth and hand labeled with cigar band labels that are as beautiful as the soap! Our canldes are 6 ounce tin cans with the same beautiful labels attached to the top...made with Soy & Beeswax, these candles are long burning and fill the room with Nature's Emporium Soap Company's famous perfumes!
One of my sweetest memories, is a Summer I spent with my Grandparents on their Kansas farm. On a hot Summer day, i took a shower outside, in a homemade wooden shower with a oak barrel above that had caught the seasons rains. The soap was earthy and fragrant with herbs and my skin was the softest it had ever been. After this unique shower I asked my Grandma about the unusual odd shaped soap in the shower, she explained how she made it herself...and this is how the store begins.
